Chaney keeps their big wins rolling
Chaney caught my eye last week after they stunned Elyria last week at the Great Lakes Classic. The Cowboys lost to Massillon Jackson earlier in the week. But at Shaker Heights HS, they were able to win big over Barberton. The Magics, who won against CVCA and lost in OT to Revere, were held to 35 points in the loss. Chaney has two major matchups with Youngstown Ursuline and Archbishop Hoban the next week.

Tigers upset Glenville in finale
Just a week ago I said Glenville looked great without being at 100% yet. I might have spoken too soon as the Tarblooders struggled with Cleveland Heights in the anticipated final game of the Danny Young Classic. Cleveland Heights led throughout the game, thanks in part to Jayquan Stubbs and the Tigers would pull the upset 60-52. Stubbs finished with 19 points as it was a tough loss for the Tarblooders early in the year. ​
